April 25, 2013: Free Write Thursday
It is the day before prom and I couldn't be more excited for my last prom. All of the homework stuff has changed so now I'm not rushed to do anything. I feel so relaxed now. I plan on leaving school early today to pamper myself, do a little shopping, and then coming back home to finish a wedding present for Saturday. Now since my teachers changed the date for our homeowkr assignments to Monday i have all weekend to finish them. I'm so excited!

April 24, 2013: Fishing with a Bike
Two or three years ago I went fishing with my boyfriend at the time. His name is Justin and he has a younger brother named Josh. We three went fishing mid afternoon. It was a little warm and a little cloudy outside. It wasn't really the time for fishing but decided to go anyway. We went to his uncles house, he has a pond in the back. When we got there we decided to feed the fish. The fish food was in a Rubbermaid tub and it was slightly open. Justin opened the lid and jumped back like flames were shooting out of it. I then realized he was terrified of baby mice. I was laughing so hard and when Josh realized what was going on he started rolling with laughter too. Josh decided to pick up one of the dead ones by the tail and chase Justin with it. I've never seen a him run that fast or scream that loud before. He made the comment if only I had a bike I would be out of her because Josh could out run him any day of the week. I literally peed my pants. It's one of those moments where you would have to be there to appreciate the humor.

As i sit here trying to think about what else to put in my speech for graduation, I'm just at a loss for words. I have a main theme for my speech but I don't know how to end it. I talk about what we have learned in life and what school has taught us. I also talk about how it's time for us to believe in ourselves which is a hint on how this is our lives and it's time we trust in ourselves to make our own decisions instead of relying on our parents for everything. And that touches on the topic of faith. It's taken a lot of faith to get here and it will take a lot of faith to continue with our lives. I'm not sure what else to add because I have so much more to say but I'm not sure how to say it.

This week is the last week of school and I have so much to do. I have two papers due, a magazine article due, blogs everyday, an essay revision, psychology work, I have to make something for a wedding, get ready for prom, go to a wedding Saturday, and shop on Sunday for the rest of my senior trip stuff. Plus I have to stick to my daily routine of working out. This isn't a complaint, I love to be challenged and I'm growing up I have to learn how to prioritise my life and this is an excellent way to start. I can't wait for college and this last week I feel like this is testing not only mine but every ones limits on how much stress they can handle. I have enough free hours in the day that I'll be able to get all of this finished in a week. I've got this!!

April 19, 2013: Opportunities
Opportunities... I'll be starting my freshman year of college in August and I'll be given so many opportunities since I'm going to college. Going to college gives me the opportunity to become the person I've always wanted to be. College is my future and children are my passion and hopefully if the timing is right when I finish my masters I'll be faced with a great opportunity to move to Colorado to work in a hospital like the Kenny Rodgers hospital. I can't wait to see what other opportunities are in store for me. As long as long as I strive to meet my goal and life long dream then I should be set. I have the will power to do what whatever I set my mind to. with the opportunities I have going for myself now that gives me motivation to keep moving forward with my life. I'm very grateful and blessed with what I have going on.

Senior trip is creeping up on me fast. I get $100 back a day and I'm so excited. I've been doing some shopping and now I won't feel so bad spending $100 on some more stuff. With my wonderful luck (sarcasm) I broke some of my favorite sandals and now I have to get more and I'm still debating on buying another bathing suit. I'm not sure yet.

April 17, 2013: Carrots and Ghosts
Jerry was very bright and full of jokes. He was 11 and in the 5th grade. He brought his lunch everyday because he loved fresh vegetables and couldn't stand the cafeterias food. So everyday Jerry brought himself a nice variety of vegetables. His favorite was carrots, the small kind that you can just eat in one bite. Well that day Jerry was in a hurry to eat his lunch so he could go top recess earlier. So he stuffed his face full of food and saved the carrots for last because those were his favorite, like i mentioned before. Jerry starts stuffing the carrots in his mouth, suddenly he starts to choke. He stayed calm and tried to handle the situation himself but people started to notice that he was turning blue and purple. Jerry could tell that he was about to pass out. Teachers rushed over and started doing everything they knew to help Jerry. But it was too late when the ambulance arrived. Jerry had choked on his favorite food just to get to recess early. Every student and friend of Jerry's that saw that happen, will be forever haunted by Jerry, especially when they have carrots for dinner.

April 16, 2013: My favorite color
My favorite color is lavender purple. lavender purple is so pretty and it's calming. I love the way it looks fresh and not dingy. It's not too bright or too dark and it's not quite a pastel. Even though I don't have a lot of color to my wardrobe lavender purple is as colorful as I get sometimes. To me it looks pretty with my skin color whether I'm tan or pale. I wish more clothes that flattered my body type were made lavender purple but there's not a lot to choose from. I hate dark purple and neon purple I can not pull those colors off to save my life. One of these days when I have my own house I'm going to paint the closed in back porch lavender purple or at least a wall lavender purple, that's how much I love it.

April 12, 2013: Carmel
I love Carmel! I love it on ice cream and I love chocolate with Carmel. When I was younger my nanny would take me to McDonald's and I would always get a Carmel Sundae and to this day I always get Carmel sundaes from there because they are the best. I hate Carmel from other places because it's too runny and tastes like plastic. They may not be the best for you but I can eat a Carmel sundae from Micky D's like it's no ones business! YUMMY!

I love it when it storms at night! I sleep so good. I hate driving in it but sleeping in it's like heaven. I don't know what it is about rain that makes sleeping so much better. It can't be the noise because I already have the fan going and it makes tons of noise in my room. It's not the smell. It could possibly be the temperature change in my house because when it rains my house gets super cold. I can't sleep in a room that's hot. It has to be cold and the warmth of the blankets and sheets evens everything out.
April 10, 2013: Charley
Charley was a cute Golden Retriever that lived in town with an older couple. They were in their late sixties and they had Charley for almost twenty years. He was the best dog they've ever had. Everybody in town knew who Charley was and who he belonged to so they didn't bother him when he was wondering around. One afternoon Charley's owner had an accident and his wife was in town buying flowers to plant. Charley knew something was wrong and dashed to town. Charley was getting old, anyone could tell by the way he breathed. Charley found his owners wife at the repair store looking at hammers. He tugged and tugged at her legs and arm and finally just barked at her. She wasn't use to his behavior and threatened that she wasn't going to comb his hair out later if he didn't stop. Usually that would make Charley mind but not this time. When she realized that wasn't working she then thought something could be wrong. She hurried home with Charley in the back seat as soon as she let him out he ran to the scene. She saw her husband in the floor and gasped. She couldn't believe that Charley had saved his life and the day.

So it's almost the end of the year for seniors and I have senioritis really bad! We have eighteen more days left and I couldn't be more excited and stressed. I can't wait until graduation and this summer but everything leading up t graduation is stressing me out. For example, scholarship applications are due, we are still doing a lot of work in class, my mind is stuck in packing for trip and shopping for trip, I still have to finish some senior letters, I have to finish my speech and make sure that I have everything I want in it, I still have to buy graduation presents, baby shower presents, and get well presents. AND prom is coming up in two weeks. I have to make sure my dress fits right, I have to get my hair trimmed and colored before graduation, and I would really like to keep my tan but lately i haven't had enough time to tan. I still work on the most inconvenient and longest day of the week MONDAY but at least i still have some kind of income coming my way. I really just need to sit back and take a breath.

April 8, 2013: Beginnings and endings
Beginnings and endings... Beginnings are easy to start but finishing or ending something can sometimes be difficult. I tend to get bored with a project I start and the ending is always sloppy. When I bake the ending product is not always good but I take my time at the beginning and always stay consistent throughout the whole process. Sometimes the endings are easier than the beginnings like starting my homework is always difficult but the ending is great because I'm done. Comparing beginnings to endings, I can't really compare much because it all depends on what I'm doing. I find either things easy at times or harder. Sometimes I hate ending things like movies I wish they would go on and on. The beginning of movies are slow and sometimes boring but most movies end great!

April 3, 2013: Who says a girl can't hunt?
When I was in the third grade I started hunting with my dad, grandpa, uncle, and sister. The men would always make fun of us because we were girls of course. Girls were meant to play with things that are pink and girly like barbie dolls. But that was never the case with me, my sister on the other hand loved dolls. I hated them! I hated playing with girly stuff. I loved going out side with my BB gun to shoot cans. Finally I was old enough to go hunting and I fell in love with it. So even if girls like to play with barbie dolls they can still hunt. It doesn't matter. We both proved the men wrong when we out killed them that weekend. They stopped nagging at us real quick.

April 2, 2013 Free Write Tueday!
I love going to the movies. It doesn't matter what movie it is, I love going. Over spring break I saw The Call. It was amazing and I loved the ending of it. The Call is about a 911 operator, (Halle Berry). She played this woman who takes the calls and she becomes connected with these people and you're really not suppose to. Her family was all in the police force. She gets too attached to the people who call because she wants to help them. When one 911 call went bad she goes through a state of depression. She started training people until all of a sudden she has to help a newbie. She helps this girl and goes out on her own to find her. She finds her and ends up killing the person who killed the girl before and who tried to kill the girl she rescued. It was suspenseful and crazy. It's a need to see!

April 1, 2013: Day and Night
Day time for me is usually filled with a few things to do, especially when I have school. On weekends when I have nothing to do an it's nice during the day I feel extremely lazy when I don't go outside. But fishing during the day when the wind isn't blowing is my favorite thing. Night time is when I can be lazy and not feel bad at all because theres not a lot to do at night. I like to cuddle up on the couch and watch movies while eating popcorn. Even going to the movies or out somewhere is fun. I rather rent movies and stay home though. But between day time and night time I pick night. To me it's so much prettier with all the stars and usually it's cooler at night. I love it!

March 21, 2013: Spring Break
SPRING BREAK cannot get here fast enough! I have absolutely no plans on spring break and I love it. I plan on relaxing, that is my ultimate goal. Relaxing to me consists of tanning, tanning, tanning, sleeping, shopping, exercising a little, and possibly hanging out with my friends. It sounds like I'm going to be super busy but that is not busy at all to me. I only have to work one day this week so I'm pretty excited to get everything I want to get done.

March 19, 2013: Bobby and His Tartar Sauced Car
Taylor Swift once again started dating another boy again. His name is Bobby, he's from California, and he's a professional surfer. They stayed together for months and all of a sudden Taylor's world came crashing down when she caught Bobby cheating on her with Selena Gomez. They were eating at Bobby's and Taylor's favorite seafood restaurant. Taylor of course was heart broken once again because all she wanted was love. Taylor was at the end of her rope and decided to do something other than write a sing about him and his scandalous ways. She decided not to make a scene. It looked like Selena and Bobby just got there so Taylor had plenty of time to make her plan realistic. She went ton the nearest store that sold window chalk, she came back to the restaurant, went in through the back to talk to the cook. After talking to the cook she bought three gallons of their tartar sauce. It was Bobby's favorite, he used it on everything he ate their. Taylor spotted Bobby's vehicle and wrote ENJOY THIS... on the back of his windshield. Then she noticed that his sunroof was open, she started to pour the tartar sauce in the car, then down the sides, on the windshield, the windshield wipers, down every door, and door handle. She waited in the bushes and ten minutes later they walked out. Birds were all over his car and Taylor laughed so hard by the expression on their faces. She later on wrote a song about tartar sauce and Bobby.

March 19, 2013: Free Right Tuesday
I love fruit! I could eat fruit all day long. I like any kind of fruit, well except for melon. My favorite fruits are strawberrys, green grapes, fuji apples, bananas, and peaches. I just like my fruit plain. I don't like to dip them or sprinkle them with anything. I also put fruit in everything I eat. If I have bananas I usually put them in oatmeal or cereal. When I have plain cheerios I put strawberries and bananas in them. I even put fruit on frozen yogurt. It's delicious! If I could just live off fruit I would.

March 14, 2013: Free Right Thursday
So I've been saving my money to go shopping for senior trip. I've been doing good about saving my money and not spending it on pointless things. I've also been doing a good job about going in to work instead of letting other people who want and need the hours more than me work. Well my boss cut some of my hours. She cut my sunday short shift and I only work two days a week. Sunday wasn't my tip making night anyway. I just wish she would've warned me or something. I still can't wait to go shopping but I feel like I need extra money just in case. I have no idea what I'm going to do!

March 13, 2013: The Perfect Couple
Matty and Sarah were newly weds and they just moved into their new home. Their new home was really old and wore out but that's all they could afford. Sarah was happy about it and really excited to start their married life together but Matty was uncertain about it. Matty was raised in a really nice neighborhood unlike Sarah. He always had new things and the best things, she didn't. She was raised in a fairly nice neighborhood (average), she was taught to use what was available whether it was brand new or used. She didn't like spending a lot of money, she liked to save it and of course Matty liked to spend as much as he could. They did although have nice things to go in their new old house and they also had a nice car. Matty hated knowing that he had all of these nice things in such a crappy house. Behind the house was a fairly big shop. Sarah always wanted to be a beautician. She had her license but no shop. After becoming settled into their home Matty decided to fix to the empty shop and make it into a beauty shop. After months of sneaking around he finally was finished. The results were amazing and she cried tears of joy when he surprised her. He did his best and it wasn't far from perfect. There was only one slight problem he couldn't quite fix. A few days before he surprised her the pipes froze to the hair washing station. He tried tightening the bolts with a wench but that only temporarily fixing it, so he hung the wench on the wall for her to use until the plumber could come and fix it. He felt bad because it wasn't perfect but she thought it was the best thing in the world. She decided that she wasn't going to fix the small leak. She hung his wench right beside her favorite blow dryer to remind her everyday that she has an amazing life.

March 12, 2013: Working Out and Dieting!!
My freshman year i decide to lose weight. I lost seventy pounds. I was pretty easy losing the weight that year. I played volleyball and softball. I started watching what I ate and I worked out a lot with the sports I played. I was finally getting to where I loved the way I looked. That summer I stayed pretty active. I kept the weight off all summer and when school started back I still kept it off. I decided to cheer my sophomore year. That's when I was in the best shape. After cheerleading that Christmas I gained a few pounds back. I wasn't very active anymore and that summer I decided to get a job at a gym how ironic. I unfortunately didn't lose the few pounds I gained even though I worked at a gym. When my junior year started I was so unhappy with the way I looked. I started working at Pizza Hut and ate really late at night with little activity going on in my life. Well I decided to change that by Christmas of my Junior year. That Christmas and summer I lost all the weight I gained back and now I'm working so hard to reach my goal. When trying to lose weight and be healthy it can't be just a temporary life change. It has to be a complete life change. I'm doing great so far and I hope I can meet my goal before my freshman year of college. Now I just have to watch out for the freshman fifteen!

March 11, 2013 Ties VS. Bow Ties
Comparison day!!!!! YAY! Today we are comparing ties and bow ties. I don't wear either on a daily basis. It's more a man thing anyway. When I do think of a man all dressed up I think of him wearing a nice suit and a tie not a bow tie. Bow ties are pretty cool like regular ties but regular ties are more cassual and less goofy. Either one can have an awesome design on them and either one can be worn by a man or even a woman. Bow ties remind me of cartoons. Ties are worn everyday. Bow ties are coming back though in the fashion world. I think that if a man was going to wear one he should go with a tie because if it's a larger man then he should not wear a bow tie because it will make him look like he has no neck.

March 7, 2013: Life is Like a Box of Chocolates!
My absolute favorite movie is Forrest Gump by far! It's my favorite movie because it has action, romance, and comedy all wrapped up into a movie. Tom Hanks is an amazing actor. I remember when I was younger I thought that Forrwst Gump was based on a true story.. The first year I went to Washington I stood at the Lincoln Memorial and announced to everyone that was around that that's where Forrest Gump stood. That day my history teacher told me that it wasn't real. My heart was broken but I soon recovered. Even though it wasn't based on a true story it is still my all time favorite movie ever! My favorite part was when Forrest ran out of his leg braces and he was running ever since that happened. I like the morals of the story, even though when I was little I didn't understand them. Just because you're a little different doesn't mean you're not capable of doing what you want in life. This movie is inspirational and heart felt. It wasn't based on a true story but all of the events were true. It also showed how people lived in the south so it could relate to many people. WATCH IT, it's worth it!

March 6, 2013: History Day 2009
June 2009 I went to Washington D.C. to compete in History Day. Well only three students went that summer to compete and with my luck it was all girls. So I had to room with two very unusual girls. Don't get me wrong one was a sweetheart but the other put deodorant on her legs everyday, she only showed like four times in a week, and she ordered Chinese food almost every night. I bet you can imagine what our room smelled like, body odor and Chinese food. Oh and she smoked in the bathroom! She received her own bed to sleep in because there was no way I was going to sleep with THAT! This girl was almost 19 years old, you would think that she would have better manners and self hygiene. Anyway, I remember feeling like that was going to be the longest, most annoying week of my life but surprisingly is wasn't. Later that week after dealing with this troubled girl Anna (the normal one) and I decided to pull a prank on her while we were walking around town. This may come off as a little mean but this was just pay back for all the things she put us through. We decided to put a piece of pretzel in her hood well a Pigeon swooped down and trip to get it. I don't think I've seen anyone run so fast in my life. The next best thing happened to Anna... It was the next day or so, well she wasn't feeling very well. She had an upset stomach, well later that afternoon she finally went to the restroom. To this day she claims that she did not break that toilet because she went number two but of course no one believes her. Anyway, she broke the toilet and the hotel people had to go out of their way and buy a part for it. We ended up moving rooms. It was GREAT!!

March 5, 2013: Being Sick
Being sick is absolutely no FUN. It doesn't matter how serious a cold is my whole entire body aches, I'm frozen all day, and my head always feels extremely heavy. I don't know why I always want to sleep when I feel yucky even if it's just a small headache I just need to sleep to make it go away. I'm not sick very often. Most of the time I can fight through it and go to school but when I'm tired and achy I just need to sleep that's why I didn't show up to school until 1. Two hours of school is better than nothing right? Today was perfect to stay home anyway because I had a sub in my important class and all we were doing today was reading and I've had my reading journals done for the next four chapters. I'm basically done with the book. So that is why I slept in and I do feel very refreshed and ready to go. I can get all my school work finished in two hours anyway. I'm just good like that.

March 4, 2013: Yes vs. No
So we have to compare yes and no, it doesn't matter what the question even though it depends on what you are being asked. I prefer no over yes. I don't always like to tell people no but I use to tell people yes all the time and I hated getting walked all over so I usually tell people no now because I have a very busy schedule now. My weekends don;t really consist of anything fun now. Even though I like to tell people no... I hate being told no. Of course like any other teenager I hate it when I'm told no. My parents of course love it though.

March 1, 2013: Integrity
Integrity... such a simple sounding word. Well I think so anyway. Everyone has their own kind of integrity. Whether it's from sticking to playing a sport that you don't quite like, being honest (even though every child or person has lied or at least stretched the truth), or sticking up for what you believe in no matter what. Having an opinion or belief that no one can break (change your opinion about). Thats how I view integrity. Throughout the years my integrity has been bent, shaped, and molded and I feel like it's not quite done forming.. I'm not done figuring myslef out. I haven't and many high school students don't have the room to figure ourselves out. We usally go with what our parents want, we do what our friends do, and so on. We as individuals have not figured out what our integrity is yet. For those high school students who do know, I'm jealous! Of course I have morals and I stick with them but I also want to create my own. I want to be able to create my own.

Feb 28, 2013: I Need a Vacation
I need a vacation like ASAP!! For the last month and a half I've been stuck at home on the weekends. I usually go to Jonesboro but I haven't been since I moved some of my stuff in. I'm so ready to go back and move some more stuff in. My new bed is there and my head board should be in soon... I can't wait to take some of my sheets, pillows, blankets, and organizational bins down there. It's so exciting I'm gradually moving stuff in so I don't have to do one BIG move. Since my beds down there I think that it makes a lot of sense to take my extra sheets and blankets because I have no use for them at the moment and they are just taking room up in my closet. I am also a very picky person and all of my stuff really needs to match because I'm super OCD about it. I want all of my organizational bins to match, I like when all of my little baskets match, and I have to have my bedspread match my throw blankets because it looks silly if it doesn't. I'm just so ready to get my bedspread and stuff in so I can go buy matching sheets and a quilt, a lamp, a nightstand, and a chest. Then I'll be able to move some of my clothes down. Until then I plan buying organizing bins and baskets. I don't know why I consider going to Jonesboro to do more work a mini vacation..

Feb 27, 2013:
Fifteen years ago when I was three and my older sister was six my dad decided to surprise us with a very special gift. I can barely remember because I was so young but from what I can remember the very special gift was under a blanket and it moved. I remember being so excited because I had no idea what it was. Finally he removed the blanket and revealed the most beautiful puppy I've ever seen.. Chelsea was a full blooded Golden Retriever. I loved her so much. She took care of Kelsey and I. She would always walk right beside us, sleep with us, and watch movies with us. When I learned how to ride a bike, which it is very hard to learn how to ride a bike in the country because of the tall weeds, loose gravel, and dirt. Anyway, she would always circle me when I would attempt to ride my bike and when I would fall she would lay down beside me until I would get up and if I hurt myself she would always go and get my parents. She was an awesome and loving dog. She was never too hyper and she was always good natured. She never growled at us, pounced on us, or scratched us. She watched over my sister and I for a good six years and then she passed away due to old age. I remember that day, my dad even cried (and he doesn't cry very often especially about a dog). She will always be my first dog, best friend, and a part of my family.

Feb 25, 2013: Watermelon Vs. Bicycle
Comparing a watermelon and a bicycle can be somewhat difficult but they are somewhat similar. The color of bicycles can be the outer color of a watermelon. They can be different shades of green which is awesome because most bicycles have that shiny coating to it. Some bicycles can be the inner color of a watermelon. I actually have a bicycles that's watermelon pink and black. It's really pretty but I don't ride it like I use to. When you cut a watermelon open (Not long ways) the circle looks like a tire on a bicycle kind of. a watermelon doesn't really have the shape of a perfect circle like a tire but sometimes they can be.

Feb 22, 2013: Kindergarten
So as you all know I'm in Kindergarten everyday for three hours. These kids are NUTS!!!! They have turned into a bunch of ungrateful, know it all, tattle-tailing, little brats. I have no idea what their parents are feeding them because they have been awful this past week. I know when I was in Kindergarten Mrs. Bobo DID NOT put up with any of the back talking and tattle-tailing. Know a days the children have to pull clips back then we missed our recess. Ms. Bedwell is doing a good job about taking away there recess now but before she would just threaten them. I think she's just as tired of their little attitudes just like me. I usually carry lip gloss, lotion, and body spray with me everyday, sometimes when the kids are good i reward them with some lip gloss body spray or lotion. Of course it's usually the girls but the boys do like to use the lotion on their arms, anyway lately they just walk up to me and say "Give me some...." and I always tell them "No, not until you're good, not until you're quiet." They do get mad at me but there is nothing I can do. I will not reward children for misbehaving.

Feb 21, 2013: Two Hour Delays
OK, I'm going to go on a little rant. Why did we even have school today??? We received a two hour delay but the surrounding schools were called off, why couldn't we get called off for school? It's ridiculous like a two hour delay can prevent sleet and ice. I can understand if we have a two hour delay for fog but for sleet. C'mon, it started raining after lunch and apparently we are suppose to get out early. Why bother coming to school for an hour or so. Such a waste of my gas. I did get assignments turned in because we've had a sub the last two days. I would say it was a waste of my time but we did have a good class discussion. I did waste my make-up, hair spray, and gas to come here though for two hours. So what if we have to make up this day, I rather make up a day then die trying to drive home. I'm a senior anyway... if the studs had to go an extra day at the end of the year I won't even be here!

Feb 20, 2013: East vs. West
I like East more than West because the sun rises in the east. Even though sunsets are really pretty, I think that sun rises are prettier. When the sun rises it's a brand new day. I have a fresh start, a chance to make that day a better day than the day before. My bathroom window is facing the East so every morning I have the chance to watch the sun rise. It's beautiful in every way even on cloudy days. When the sun sets in the west I get to enjoy that when I read books in the evening in my living room. The sun setting is also beautiful but that marks the end to a good day. The sun goes down as I'm winding down myself. So when comparing East to West I pick east because that indicates the start of another day.

Feb 19, 2013: Shopping!!
I want to go shopping so bad!! I want to go shopping just because and for senior trip but I have to wait a few more weeks. I've been saving money since Christmas because I don't want my parents or grandparents help me because they've done so much for me already. My grandparents have already bought me my new duevet cover and stuff to match that for my new room for graduation, they bought my new car recently, and they are also buying other things. I'm not sure what yet but they said they have something up their sleeves. My parents have bought me so much already too. They already bought a bed and a headboard, I'm currently looking for a chest and a night stand to go in my room. I'm good on bedroom decorations, my bathroom is already decorated and now all I want is clothes. I'm almost set but not quite there yet.
Feb 15, 2013: Fingernails
I hate long fingernails. I've tried to grow mine out but I always bite mine. I got out of that habbit when I was little. I just started cutting them short but now I would like to have long pretty nails. I aimply cannot do it. I can't stand having to constantly clean them. It's gross and it looks disgusting. I do like to have acrylic nails. They tend to damage your real nails but they look nice, neat, and they last a long time.

Being single on Valentines Day is the BEST! Why? Because I don't have to buy presents. I think Valentines Day is overrrated. Valentines Day should be expressed everyday with couples and people that love each other. To me Valentines Day , especially this year, it's a day where I don't have to diet, I can eat as much chocolate and cany, smile at everyone without getting weird looks back, wish everyone to have a good day without someone being grouchy. Thats what I get to do on Valentines day eat and be happy. FAT and HAPPY!! Instead of having one valentine I have twenty little Valentines. The kindergarten class, they are all so sweet and loving. This has been the best Valentines Day by far. I'm so blessed.

Feb 13, 2013; Heavy Metal Band Chick Look
One day I was shopping, for nothing particular, I was just looking around. After browsing a few stores I decided I wanted to go for this new look. I wanted a leather jacket, not necessarily a black one because I wanted to keep this new look neutral and soft. Then I wanted some rather dark jeans, not the skinny kind. Skinny jeans do not flatter my body type. Then I wanted a plain lose white t-shirt. To top this whole look off I wanted an awesome scarf, and black/greyish fingernail polish. Can you guess what this look is? Heavy metal band chick look. Let me tell you all, I cannot pull off this look. EPIC FAIL. Maybe one day.

Feb-12-13; CARS CARS CARS!
I have a dilemma, I have no idea what kind of vehicle I want for graduation. I need one that will last at least four years (last me through college). My grandparents are so sweet for doing this for me. They do have a budget because they are also paying for college. With my sister they found a nice on owner Tahoe and bought it for her. She didn't have much of a say so but for some reason I do. They asked me what I liked and I really like Equinox's and Terrains but again it really just depends on what they can find that's within our budget. They've been looking at Malibu's, those are really nice cars although I would like a bigger SUV type car because I want it to last me a while. My grandparents told me though I can either wait to look at this used one owner brown equinox that has 40,000 and I'll get it in May or within the next few days I can get an off the lock brand spackin new 2012 black Malibu with four doors and leather seats with zero miles on it. I know some people think I'm crazy for even contemplating this but I like them both a lot. I'm leaning towards the car but who knows what I'll do.

Feb-11-13; HANDS
I'm right handed. I've always used my right hand, well ever since I can remember. But when I ws younger my parents told me that I liked using both hands. Now, I do try to work with both hands. I write with my right hand and do a lot of other things with my right hand but I unscrew stuff with my left hand and when I had to take a CPR class I was pushing down with my right hand, it wasn't working out well. The instructors told me to use the hand I write with to push down. I was only following their instructions. Finally, I asked for help because I wasn't pushing hard enough, so the nice lady told me to switch. I've came to the conclusion that my left hand is physically stringer than my right but my right hand is cpapable of doing more things.

Kindergarten is unlike any other grade. This is where most children become big kids. It's an overwhelming but exciting time in their little lives just like college will be an overwhelming exciting time for me next year. As a senior I wanted to have a somewhat "busy" schedule. I wanted to have enough time to do what I want but I also wanted to have a little bit of homework. I decided to take a trade school class over childcare. This class lets me interact with the kindergarten class three hours everyday except for Mondays. I LOVE this class. Children are my passion and I would love to go into any field that involves helping children in any way. Going into this class I was a Little nervous because I was afraid that some of the children wouldn't like me but as for as I know they all love me. The past few months I've tried my best to get to know each and every one unique individuals. I've watched these children grow so much. They have learned so much since school has started that I'm very impressed with them and I let them know it on a daily basis.
I love each and every one of these kids with all of my heart. Who wouldn't love twenty kindergartners? I fall in love with their passion, the way they get so excited about their interests amazes me. I love it when I walk in and I hear all at once "WE MISSED YOU MISS KASSIDY!" They seriously brighten my day. I love receiving their little hugs. I love telling them stories and listening to theirs. Their little smiles melt my heart even if they have snotty noses at times. One day they asked me if I was excited about going to first grade with them. It broke my heart because I'll be in college. Words cannot express how much I'll miss my new little friends.

Feb 4,2013; Tennis Shoes Vs. Sandals
I prefer sandals over tennis shoes because I like for my feet to breath even though sandals are really bad for your feet. Tennis shoes make my feet sweat and I don't like it when my feet are hot. My feet usually hurt after wearing tennis shoes for a long period of time. Sandals are easy to put on and get off. They're cheaper than tennis shoes so that means I can buy multiple pairs to go with many different outfits. I only like to wear tennis shoes with some kind of workout outfit, unless I absolutely have to wear them with jeans.
Although sandals are my favorite I tend to stub and hurt my toes a lot when I wear them. That and my feet can get extremely dirty when i wear sandals because dirt and pretty much everything else can get on the bottom of my feet. I also have to make sure my toenails are clipped, clean, and painted before I wear sandals and I have to give myself pedicures more often because my toes are open to everything.

2-1-13; Shake Your Salt Shaker
I work at Pizza Hut two days a week. On Sunday I work short shift. Everyone asks me what short shift is, it's very self explanatory. When working short shift I have a list of things to do, on the list I have to fill the shakers (salt, pepper, cheese, pepper flakes shakers). Well one time I forgot to screw some of the salt shaker lids back on AND the self dumped all over the customers food. It was hilarious! OOPS.

January 29,2013: Obama's Dreams
One stormy night at the White House Obama was napping in his parlor on his favorite couch. Earlier that day he was having some trouble making decisions and writing a speech. Obama has a lot of responsibilities. He's the president for crying out loud. He had no one to really talk to about his issues because he knew they wouldn't understand. He has to try and please everyone in the United States but unfortunately he knows he cant. He started to think about what would Washington do, because he was the first president and he couldn't imagine how he felt being the first president with all of these new pressures and stresses. All of a sudden Washington appears in Obama parlor.Obama eyes were huge and he didn't know if he was dreaming or if that was real life. Obama calms down and Washington walks a little closer. He looks fairely old, he looks kind though, and sophisticated. Washington looked Obama in the eye and said " I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man." Obama was still so shocked he couldn't say anything to Washington but when he finally could Washington disappeared. BOOM POW POW POW The sound of lightening and thunder woke Obama up immediately. He smiled with comfort, he remembered his dream and what the first president of the United States told him. Obama knew that he had to stop worrying and do what he thinks will benefit our country and to be honest about it.

January 29, 2013; Blown Away!
I HATE WIND!!! Wind is definitely my enemy. Wind and I have never been good friends. Wind likes to push my buttons. Wind always, ALWAYS has to mess my hair up, make my scarves go crazy, and he likes to blow stuff out of my hands. I will never understand wind. I just wish wind would blow away forever.
January 28, 2013; Apples or Oranges?
I cannot decide between apples and oranges because they are both very tasty. I'm picky about both fruits. I prefer for them to be cold but if they're not that's okay. I will only eat Fuji, the green ones, or the granny smith red apples. I never dip them in Carmel though, that ruins the apple. I like it when apples are crisp, they have to be the perfect balance between sweet and sour. When I eat oranges they cannot have seeds. They have to be the right size too because usually the bigger ones are usually mushy and they taste funny.
Apples and oranges are somewhat familiar in taste to me. Sometimes they can be extremely sour or sweet. The texture between apples and oranges are different though. If I had to decide on which one to eat based on texture I would go with an apple. I love the smell of fresh oranges and apples. The smell of fresh fruit in general is amazing. I'm just a fruity person. I can never go wrong with fruit it's my favorite.

January 25,2013; Aglets
What is an aglet? For those of you that have no idea what it is, it's the little plastic thing at the end of your shoe laces.
I haven't had very much experience with aglets in the last few years because I started wearing shoes that didn't have shoe laces because they were more convenient. When I was younger though, man I use to love to chew on aglets. I would love to take the laces off my shoes (brand new shoes of course) and chew on those things until they were messed up. OH I would get in so much trouble for chewing on those things. One time my nanny caught me chewing on those things like an animal, without hesitation she came after me with the paddle. She wore me out. Looking back now I think it's hilarious but then it was awful. I cried and cried, that was the day i stopped chewing on my aglets. That's the day I started a new habit. Chewing on my fingernails.

January 23, 2013; Movies and Popcorn
Which is better TV or movies?
I prefer movies or regular Tv shows because there are no commercials, they usually have better plots or story themes, and they last longer.
I do have a few favorite Tv shows but I catch myself ignoring them and not following them as much as I use to. I don't have a very relaxed schedule like I use to so I don't have the time to sit down and watch television.
I know, I basically contradicted myself because movies last longer than Tv shows, I can't seem to find time to follow a series, how can i ever sit down and watch a whole movie? It's possible though, I usually put in a movie around the time I go to bed so i can wind down and relax. I usually fall asleep towards the end but I rather do what I have to do with no interuptions and then watch something.

January 21,2013; Nanny's House
For some reason when grandma makes something it's always good but when I try to make something or when my mother does it always tastes awful. There"s something about grandmas that I guess I will never understand until I become a grandma.
I have always known my grandma as nanny. I'm not sure who started that but I called my nanny grandma one time and I thought she was going to disown me.
Going to nanny's house is always the best because she always has good stuff to eat and snack on. She is the reason I can't lose any weight. For real, if you're on a diet don't go to nanny's. I've avoided her house the last few months and I'll probably keep avoiding it until senior trip. I have to get swim suit ready. Nanny always has some kind of dessert and all kinds of candy in the drawer. She text me one afternoon and told me to come over after school. Me thinking something was wrong rushed over there, thank goodness everything was alright. She wanted to surprise me with peanut butter flips. That's our favorite thing to eat for breakfast or a dessert. I was so surprised but she knew I was watching what I ate but she said I needed to cheat a little. My nanny has always been full of surprises. I always look forward to our long conversations at the kitchen table with our peanut butter flips and glasses of milk.

January 18, 2013; Kleenex's
I love tissue paper. I use a lot of Kleenex tissues. I use them for make up, I use them to wipe tears away, I use them to blow my nose when I'm sick. I carry a small thing of travel size Kleenex's. They come in handy. I get made fun of for having them with me but usually other people need them.
In the Kindergarten class they go through at least one box of Kleenex's a week and they go through tons of germ x. These kids are crazy but I'm very glad they like to keep their little noses clean because I can not deal with boogers. Boogers and snot just gross me out and scare me. I'm so thankful for soft Kleenex tissues.

January 21, 2013; Waylon Grey
Waylon Grey was a family man. He was the ultimate dad and husband, he did anything and everything for his wife and daughter because they were his world. His life revolved around them. Waylon was also a business man. He was president for his dads company. Since he was president he had the freedom to work wherever he wanted, he could work from home or in the office. He did both. Waylon and his family was very wealthy but he didn't like to flaunt it. Him and his family lived on this little farm a few miles away from the city that his wife inherited. On the little farm Waylon built a reasonably sized house big enough for the three of them. They were the perfect family until that awful summer day. That day Waylon decided to go into the office. His wife and daughter decided to stay at home and have a lazy day. The air conditioner stopped working, so his wife decided to call the repair man. When she stepped out of the living room for a few minutes her daughter made her way outside. Down the road the farmers were trying to fix their airplane to spray the crops. Their daughter was a wanderer, she made her way down the road, the farmers didn't see her and when they started the plane to take off a horrible accident happened. Waylon remembers getting the call but he doesn't remember rushing home. He recalls all of the police cars and ambulances being there but nothing else. He blamed his wife for the accident and never forgave her. They eventually got a divorce and he never had the air conditioner fixed. He was in a state of depression that made him go insane. He was lost and not willing to be found.

January 17,2013; Texting In Class
So every student does it, that's no secret. I hate it when students complain how they got their phone taken away in class because they were on it. Seriously? They over use these excuses, it's so annoying, "I was checking the time," "I was texting my mom", "I thought my phone was ringing, I needed to check it." Teachers are not stupid. We have clocks in the classroom, that's why we have the office an a school phone in case parents needed to get a hold of their child. If any student is going to text in class, they have to be smooth about it. I've had my phone taken away one time. Did I complain about it? Absolutely not, I knew what I was doing, so I handed it over no problem. Do I text all the time in class? No, I honestly don't. When I do it's usually at the beginning of class before the teacher is even in the room or in between classes because we get five minutes. My phone is a major distraction, but I'm responsible with it. I'm not going to whip it out in a the middle of an assignment and start texting my sister. My eyesight is so bad that i can't hold my phone down to text or even read a text. I have to hold it close to my face so there is really no point in me to even try and text in class. I'm a senior anyway, my schedule is so easy the kindergarten students are jealous. I have a lot of free time on my hands and i normally use that to do my homework or study but on occasion I use that time to play Sims 3. Anyway, to conclude my rant for the day my advise to any young being that wants to be rebellious in class... save it for your parents, you're going to get caught, and you're going to get in trouble for you snappy attitude about it. You're welcome!

January 15,2013; 68 Days of School Left For Seniors!
There's only sixty-eight days of school left for seniors. My parents weren't kidding when they told me that this year would fly by. I've had the BEST senior year so far. We have basically two more months left and I can't wait to see what they have in store for me. Thinking about graduation and how this whole experience is about to end is so bittersweet. I'm sad, excited, nervous, happy, a little overwhelmed, and scared all at the same time. Looking back I've had an amazing experience from elementary to Jr. high and now high school. My class is small but it's filled with unique individuals. People look at our class and wonder how in the world do they all get along because we are all so different but somehow so much a like. My class is not just a class it's a family. We treat each other like brothers and sisters, we fight, we play games, we laugh, and do it all over again. I've made so many memories with these people in the last thirteen years, especially the last four it's unreal. We have all grown as individuals, we have figured out who we are (either we have or we're still trying to), we've grown up. These next few months are going to fly by and I cannot stress to my class enough how much they have impacted my life. They have been smiles and laughs to share jokes with, shoulders to lean on, hands to hold, and just all around loving people. After graduation I may not get to see any of them again but I will always have a place for them in my heart no matter what. High school has been beyond wonderful but I know that the memories and good times don't stop here. I'm going to go out into the real world and make something of myself. Start my real life, make a difference, do what I'm passionate about, and get a fresh start. That's where people get confused I think. They think that high school is the best years of their life and that they'll never get to create memories like that again, high school is a once in a lifetime experience and people won't make memories like that again but they are bound to make better memories. High school is where they prep us for real life. I'm excited to see what life has in store for me. The best is yet to come.

January 14, 2013; ASU vs. MSU
AH, college! It's difficult to compare two colleges, well it is for me anyway. I love Arkansas State University and Missouri State University.
ASU is closer to home, I already have some friends there, I now the campus, I know the town. ASU's campus is beautiful, it's not spaced out, it feels homey, they offer a lot of activities for students to participate in especially during rush week. Going Greek at ASU is a big deal, to me is seems like it is a big deal there. I've been told that if you don't go Greek you're a nobody. I don't really agree with that. ASU is diverse and there's a lot of different clicks people can be a part of but being Greek is the biggest one. Academic wise, ASU seems to offer a wide variety of classes to take. Almost every college has a wide variety. ASU didn't send me anything in the mail. ASU seems to be a little unorganized but it still seems like a good school with a good atmosphere.
MSU's campus is more modern than any other campus I've seen. MSU has newer buildings than ASU. MSU just built a new rec center for students. It has an Olympic sized swimming pool, a workout area for men and woman, and a lounge area. MSU also has a lot of activities for students to participate in. Going Greek there doesn't seem like it's that big of a deal. MSU is very diverse, everyone will find a place to fit in no matter what. MSU also has a wide variety of classes to take and areas to major in. MSU is really good about sending me stuff in the mail about what I want to major in. They are full of information and there is always someone there to answer questions.

January 11, 2013; Sandy Cheeks
I love going to the beach but I hate sand. Sand is awful! It gets in everything. This past summer my family and I stayed in a house for a week. The house was right on the beach. For a whole week I had sand in my hair, in my bed, in my mouth, on my feet, all over my clothes, it was everywhere. It was even in the shower, so it really didn't help any when I would get in the shower to rinse off the sand. Sand was even under my toenails and under my finger nails. I even brought sand home with me. It was in all of my bags, even my purse and I never took my purse on the beach. I don't know how people could live by the beach because of the sand. I guess people would get use to it but I couldn't even get use to it for a week. The only complaint I had about that vacation was the sand. We took our family pictures on the beach. I had to roll around in the sand for almost two hours. It's very uncomfortable when the photographer makes you lay on this huge rock that's hot with sand all over your legs and my legs were sun burnt. It wasn't a very good combination. I was not a happy camper that day. The only thing sand did for me was make my feet soft because I didn't wear shoes all week but nobody knew that because I don't let people touch my feet. Aside form my sandy problems I had a great vacation.

January 10, 2013; Howl Yes!
Even though graduation is five months away, I've already decided to go to ASU and live with my sister. A lot of people tell me to create a back-up plan but I don't need one. My mind is made and I've already moved a few things in. I'm beyond ready for graduation. For the last four months I've been spending the majority of my free time in Jonesboro, just to get the feel of the place. I love the town and the atmosphere of it. The town is growing rapidly, theres tons of things to do, and there's at least fifteen different ice cream places five minutes away from my house. I feel good about the decision I made. The only thing I'm worried about is living with my sister. When she lived at home we HATED each other. We were never close when she was in high school but ever since she graduated we've become closer. Now, that I've been spending an enormous amount of time with her we've been better than ever and that shocks my parents. Like I said, I feel great about this move. There's no reason I can't move into basically a free house, in a familiar town, with my older sister. I have it made and I couldn't thank my family enough for providing and supporting me every step of the way with my decisions. I'm so blessed.

January 9, 2013; Viola The Great
Once upon a time there was a young lady named Viola. Viola was her own kind of pretty, she was awkward, smart, and shy. Viola was adopted into this amazing family. They loved her unconditionally and gave her everything she ever wanted but Viola felt like that was too much. She decided one day that it was time to branch out on her own. She was preparing for college that fall and she wanted to be on her own completely. Her parents thought that was ridiculous, they wanted to support her to make things easier for her because they knew how stressful college could be. For weeks and weeks her parents begged her to let them pay for everything but Viola refused. Viola had a pretty good head on her shoulders so her parents knew she wasn't crazy. Finally, Viola explained to them her reasoning behind her idea of making it on her own. She said she wasn't a princess and she was sick and tired of being treated like one. She also said that she was raised in such a good home, her adopted parents took care of everything, they bought everything she wanted and needed, she just wanted to show them how much she appreciated it by making it on her own. Of course her parents were concerned but they understood what she was wanting so they let her go on with her plans.
Over the summer Viola worked at the bank during the day, a restaurant at night, and on weekends she babysat. By the fall Viola had saved enough money to pay for a semester of college. She had worked her self to death but she felt accomplished. She made it to where her classes didn't interfere with her day job at the bank and her weekend job babysitting. She was doing good. The first semester flew by, while on all of her holiday breaks she worked to save money. By the time summer rolled around and finals passed she took on more jobs to pay for next years tuition. Viola barely had a social life, but she did have a 4.0 GPA, she made the deans list, and she loved her classes and professors. Viola was making it. Her parents were proud and she was happy. Viola kept this harsh cycle of work and school going until she graduated with the best degree there is.
The end.

January 8, 2013; Chewy!
My sisters dog is the worlds worst dog ever! That little mop she calls a dog is beyond destructive. He's eight pounds, he has red shaggy hair like Chewbacca, and he has the ugliest under bite ever. Every time my sister decides to come home she brings that "designer" mutt. He pees in my bathroom on the same rug unless there's a puppy pad there. A puppy pad is a pad that you use to train your dog with so they wont go to the bathroom anywhere else except for that pad. Leo (my sisters dog) doesn't like them what so ever. He likes to use it in my bathroom and my room. This dog has it out for me because he wont do his business anywhere else in the house. I just love waking up at six in the morning and stepping in pee.
I've tried my best to "bond" with this thing. I even gave him a special nickname Chewy. I like to play with him and buy him cute outfits when I'm at my sisters house but when she comes home to visit he's a monster. I can't stand him when he's at my house and my huge lab Braxton can't stand him either. Braxton three years old and he's starting to become overly protective and grumpy. He snaps at chewy when he's around me. Chewy thinks he's playing though. I have a really bad feeling that Braxtons going to eat him one of these days. Either that or I'm going to get rid of him for making messes in my room and bathroom.

January 9,2013: Circles or Squares?
Which is better circles or squares?
Circles are fun, you can create a lot of cool designs with circles but circles are childish to me. I prefer squares because they are nice and neat. Circles are sloppy.
I like to hang a lot of pictures on my walls at home, instead of buying the cool circle frames I rather buy the cool square ones. I rather buy the square ones because they make my walls look organized and sophisticated. My older sister has circle and square frames on her walls, it looks nice and funky but it's simply not my style.

January 4, 2013; Marshmellow Chairs
Chairs, there are many different types of them. There are big ones, small ones, hard plastic ones that make girls hair all staticy, there are chairs with long arms, legs, and even ones with wheels. I prefer the big squishy chairs that basically swallow you when you sit in them. I like to call big chairs like that marshmellow chairs. They are very comfortable and soft. Usually hard plastic chairs like the ones I have to it in at school hurt my back but marshmellow chairs are heaven to my back.
Everyday I look forward to relaxing in my huge marshmellow chair. I believe that everyone should have a huge marshmellow chair in their home. It's so nice to kick back with a warm cup of hot chocolate, my dog, my favorite zebra blanket, and my favorite chick flick. Try it!
