Kindergarten is unlike any other grade. This is where most children become big kids. It's an overwhelming but exciting time in their little lives just like college will be an overwhelming exciting time for me next year. As a senior I wanted to have a somewhat "busy" schedule. I wanted to have enough time to do what I want but I also wanted to have a little bit of homework. I decided to take a trade school class over childcare. This class lets me interact with the kindergarten class three hours everyday except for Mondays. I LOVE this class. Children are my passion and I would love to go into any field that involves helping children in any way. Going into this class I was a Little nervous because I was afraid that some of the children wouldn't like me but as for as I know they all love me. The past few months I've tried my best to get to know each and every one unique individuals. I've watched these children grow so much. They have learned so much since school has started that I'm very impressed with them and I let them know it on a daily basis.

I love each and every one of these kids with all of my heart. Who wouldn't love twenty kindergartners? I fall in love with their passion, the way they get so excited about their interests amazes me. I love it when I walk in and I hear all at once "WE MISSED YOU MISS KASSIDY!" They seriously brighten my day. I love receiving their little hugs. I love telling them stories and listening to theirs. Their little smiles melt my heart even if they have snotty noses at times. One day they asked me if I was excited about going to first grade with them. It broke my heart because I'll be in college. Words cannot express how much I'll miss my new little friends.
