March 21, 2013: Spring Break

SPRING BREAK cannot get here fast enough! I have absolutely no plans on spring break and I love it. I plan on relaxing, that is my ultimate goal. Relaxing to me consists of tanning, tanning, tanning, sleeping, shopping, exercising a little, and possibly hanging out with my friends. It sounds like I'm going to be super busy but that is not busy at all to me. I only have to work one day this week so I'm pretty excited to get everything I want to get done.

March 19, 2013: Bobby and His Tartar Sauced Car

Taylor Swift once again started dating another boy again. His name is Bobby, he's from California, and he's a professional surfer. They stayed together for months and all of a sudden Taylor's world came crashing down when she caught Bobby cheating on her with Selena Gomez. They were eating at Bobby's and Taylor's favorite seafood restaurant. Taylor of course was heart broken once again because all she wanted was love. Taylor was at the end of her rope and decided to do something other than write a sing about him and his scandalous ways. She decided not to make a scene. It looked like Selena and Bobby just got there so Taylor had plenty of time to make her plan realistic. She went ton the nearest store that sold window chalk, she came back to the restaurant, went in through the back to talk to the cook. After talking to the cook she bought three gallons of their tartar sauce. It was Bobby's favorite, he used it on everything he ate their. Taylor spotted Bobby's vehicle and wrote ENJOY THIS... on the back of his windshield. Then she noticed that his sunroof was open, she started to pour the tartar sauce in the car, then down the sides, on the windshield, the windshield wipers, down every door, and door handle. She waited in the bushes and ten minutes later they walked out. Birds were all over his car and Taylor laughed so hard by the expression on their faces. She later on wrote a song about tartar sauce and Bobby.

March 19, 2013: Free Right Tuesday

I love fruit! I could eat fruit all day long. I like any kind of fruit, well except for melon. My favorite fruits are strawberrys, green grapes, fuji apples, bananas, and peaches. I just like my fruit plain. I don't like to dip them or sprinkle them with anything. I also put fruit in everything I eat. If I have bananas I usually put them in oatmeal or cereal. When I have plain cheerios I put strawberries and bananas in them. I even put fruit on frozen yogurt. It's delicious! If I could just live off fruit I would.

March 14, 2013: Free Right Thursday

So I've been saving my money to go shopping for senior trip. I've been doing good about saving my money and not spending it on pointless things. I've also been doing a good job about going in to work instead of letting other people who want and need the hours more than me work. Well my boss cut some of my hours. She cut my sunday short shift and I only work two days a week. Sunday wasn't my tip making night anyway. I just wish she would've warned me or something. I still can't wait to go shopping but I feel like I need extra money just in case. I have no idea what I'm going to do!

March 13, 2013: The Perfect Couple

Matty and Sarah were newly weds and they just moved into their new home. Their new home was really old and wore out but that's all they could afford. Sarah was happy about it and really excited to start their married life together but Matty was uncertain about it. Matty was raised in a really nice neighborhood unlike Sarah. He always had new things and the best things, she didn't. She was raised in a fairly nice neighborhood (average), she was taught to use what was available whether it was brand new or used. She didn't like spending a lot of money, she liked to save it and of course Matty liked to spend as much as he could. They did although have nice things to go in their new old house and they also had a nice car. Matty hated knowing that he had all of these nice things in such a crappy house. Behind the house was a fairly big shop. Sarah always wanted to be a beautician. She had her license but no shop. After becoming settled into their home Matty decided to fix to the empty shop and make it into a beauty shop. After months of sneaking around he finally was finished. The results were amazing and she cried tears of joy when he surprised her. He did his best and it wasn't far from perfect. There was only one slight problem he couldn't quite fix. A few days before he surprised her the pipes froze to the hair washing station. He tried tightening the bolts with a wench but that only temporarily fixing it, so he hung the wench on the wall for her to use until the plumber could come and fix it. He felt bad because it wasn't perfect but she thought it was the best thing in the world. She decided that she wasn't going to fix the small leak. She hung his wench right beside her favorite blow dryer to remind her everyday that she has an amazing life.

March 12, 2013: Working Out and Dieting!!

My freshman year i decide to lose weight. I lost seventy pounds. I was pretty easy losing the weight that year. I played volleyball and softball. I started watching what I ate and I worked out a lot with the sports I played. I was finally getting to where I loved the way I looked. That summer I stayed pretty active. I kept the weight off all summer and when school started back I still kept it off. I decided to cheer my sophomore year. That's when I was in the best shape. After cheerleading that Christmas I gained a few pounds back. I wasn't very active anymore and that summer I decided to get a job at a gym how ironic. I unfortunately didn't lose the few pounds I gained even though I worked at a gym. When my junior year started I was so unhappy with the way I looked. I started working at Pizza Hut and ate really late at night with little activity going on in my life. Well I decided to change that by Christmas of my Junior year. That Christmas and summer I lost all the weight I gained back and now I'm working so hard to reach my goal. When trying to lose weight and be healthy it can't be just a temporary life change. It has to be a complete life change. I'm doing great so far and I hope I can meet my goal before my freshman year of college. Now I just have to watch out for the freshman fifteen!

March 11, 2013 Ties VS. Bow Ties

Comparison day!!!!! YAY! Today we are comparing ties and bow ties. I don't wear either on a daily basis. It's more a man thing anyway. When I do think of a man all dressed up I think of him wearing a nice suit and a tie not a bow tie. Bow ties are pretty cool like regular ties but regular ties are more cassual and less goofy. Either one can have an awesome design on them and either one can be worn by a man or even a woman. Bow ties remind me of cartoons. Ties are worn everyday. Bow ties are coming back though in the fashion world. I think that if a man was going to wear one he should go with a tie because if it's a larger man then he should not wear a bow tie because it will make him look like he has no neck.

March 7, 2013: Life is Like a Box of Chocolates!

My absolute favorite movie is Forrest Gump by far! It's my favorite movie because it has action, romance, and comedy all wrapped up into a movie. Tom Hanks is an amazing actor. I remember when I was younger I thought that Forrwst Gump was based on a true story.. The first year I went to Washington I stood at the Lincoln Memorial and announced to everyone that was around that that's where Forrest Gump stood. That day my history teacher told me that it wasn't real. My heart was broken but I soon recovered. Even though it wasn't based on a true story it is still my all time favorite movie ever! My favorite part was when Forrest ran out of his leg braces and he was running ever since that happened. I like the morals of the story, even though when I was little I didn't understand them. Just because you're a little different doesn't mean you're not capable of doing what you want in life. This movie is inspirational and heart felt. It wasn't based on a true story but all of the events were true. It also showed how people lived in the south so it could relate to many people. WATCH IT, it's worth it!

March 6, 2013: History Day 2009

June 2009 I went to Washington D.C. to compete in History Day. Well only three students went that summer to compete and with my luck it was all girls. So I had to room with two very unusual girls. Don't get me wrong one was a sweetheart but the other put deodorant on her legs everyday, she only showed like four times in a week, and she ordered Chinese food almost every night. I bet you can imagine what our room smelled like, body odor and Chinese food. Oh and she smoked in the bathroom! She received her own bed to sleep in because there was no way I was going to sleep with THAT! This girl was almost 19 years old, you would think that she would have better manners and self hygiene. Anyway, I remember feeling like that was going to be the longest, most annoying week of my life but surprisingly is wasn't. Later that week after dealing with this troubled girl Anna (the normal one) and I decided to pull a prank on her while we were walking around town. This may come off as a little mean but this was just pay back for all the things she put us through. We decided to put a piece of pretzel in her hood well a Pigeon swooped down and trip to get it. I don't think I've seen anyone run so fast in my life. The next best thing happened to Anna... It was the next day or so, well she wasn't feeling very well. She had an upset stomach, well later that afternoon she finally went to the restroom. To this day she claims that she did not break that toilet because she went number two but of course no one believes her. Anyway, she broke the toilet and the hotel people had to go out of their way and buy a part for it. We ended up moving rooms. It was GREAT!!

March 5, 2013: Being Sick

Being sick is absolutely no FUN. It doesn't matter how serious a cold is my whole entire body aches, I'm frozen all day, and my head always feels extremely heavy. I don't know why I always want to sleep when I feel yucky even if it's just a small headache I just need to sleep to make it go away. I'm not sick very often. Most of the time I can fight through it and go to school but when I'm tired and achy I just need to sleep that's why I didn't show up to school until 1. Two hours of school is better than nothing right? Today was perfect to stay home anyway because I had a sub in my important class and all we were doing today was reading and I've had my reading journals done for the next four chapters. I'm basically done with the book. So that is why I slept in and I do feel very refreshed and ready to go. I can get all my school work finished in two hours anyway. I'm just good like that.

March 4, 2013: Yes vs. No

So we have to compare yes and no, it doesn't matter what the question even though it depends on what you are being asked. I prefer no over yes. I don't always like to tell people no but I use to tell people yes all the time and I hated getting walked all over so I usually tell people no now because I have a very busy schedule now. My weekends don;t really consist of anything fun now. Even though I like to tell people no... I hate being told no. Of course like any other teenager I hate it when I'm told no. My parents of course love it though.

March 1, 2013: Integrity

  • The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
  • The state of being whole and undivided: "territorial integrity".
  •
Integrity... such a simple sounding word. Well I think so anyway. Everyone has their own kind of integrity. Whether it's from sticking to playing a sport that you don't quite like, being honest (even though every child or person has lied or at least stretched the truth), or sticking up for what you believe in no matter what. Having an opinion or belief that no one can break (change your opinion about). Thats how I view integrity. Throughout the years my integrity has been bent, shaped, and molded and I feel like it's not quite done forming.. I'm not done figuring myslef out. I haven't and many high school students don't have the room to figure ourselves out. We usally go with what our parents want, we do what our friends do, and so on. We as individuals have not figured out what our integrity is yet. For those high school students who do know, I'm jealous! Of course I have morals and I stick with them but I also want to create my own. I want to be able to create my own.
